Mental health! As important as our physical health!
On October 10th, the world will be marking World Mental Health Day. This date, established by the World Federation for Mental Health and first celebrated in 1992, has become a day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma.
World Mental Health Day is marked each year by the World Health Organization (WHO), World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), and all its members in more than 150 countries. This year’s focus is on suicide prevention.
Help us spread the word and let people around you know that ‘it’s OK not to be OK’. The Geneva School of Diplomacy (GSD) will be hosting its own event to raise awareness, on October 10th. More details will follow.
