On Wednesday 22 March 2017 the Geneva School of Diplomacy will honour Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, with the title of doctor honoris causa. The diploma will be given to him by Dr. Colum Murphy, President and founder of the University Institute.
The ceremony will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Chateau de Penthes in Pregny (Geneva), in the presence of personalities of international Geneva, faculty and students of the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. This prestigious honour is awarded for his exceptional personal career, his commitment to democracy, peace in Africa and in the world, but especially for his role in the promotion of knowledge and in favour of an Africa of Education.
