History of the Moldovan-Transnistrian conflict

GSD lecturer Mr. Gilles-Emmanuel Jacquet, has recently published a book called “Histoire du conflit moldo-transnistrien” (“History of the Moldovan-Transnistrian conflict”).

The book is in French and covers the conflict of 1992, the escalation phase preceding it during the Perestroika and Glasnost era as well as its historical, political and regional causes. The book covers as well the debates related to Moldovan culture and language, and its relationship with Romanian culture and language.
