Georgetown University Partnership

GSD is happy to inform you that we have a student exchange program with Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA. Since the September 2017 intake GSD has welcomed the first students from this prestigious university and from the February 2018 intake our students will be welcomed by Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.. GSD students are now able to apply for the challenging and exclusive exchange program at Georgetown University for the 2018- 2019 Academic Year. Mr. Jack P. Roepers, Managing Director and Georgetown SFS alumnus (1982): ‘It is nice to see Georgetown University’s School of the Foreign Service (SFS) launch an exchange program with the Geneva School of Diplomacy (GSD), a strategically located and well-respected educational institution in the world’s most diplomatic environment.  I am certain that, over time, students at SFS in Washington and at SFS in Doha will benefit from a semester or two in Switzerland, whilst GSD students will be able to enjoy academic experiences at Georgetown in the US or in Qatar. Established in 1789, Georgetown University is one of the world’s leading academic and research institutions, offering a unique educational experience that prepares the next generation of global citizens and diplomats to lead and make a difference in the world. This collaboration will be a great opportunity to further strengthen the link between the communities of students in International Relations and Diplomacy, from Geneva and Washington.
