First key-note speaker February 8, 2017

We will start with our Emerging Issues & Persistent Challenges lectures again on Wednesday 8 February 2017, from 2 – 4 pm. We have a change in our previously communicated key-note speaker on this date. It will be Mr. Michael Moller, Director General at UNOG, on ‘Today’s Global Challenges and the role of the UN’. On Wednesday 22 February from 2 to 4 pm, our second key-note speaker will be Mr. Michel Jarraud, Secretary General Emeritus of the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) on ‘Implementing the Paris climate agreement: the governance challenge’. The third key-note speaker will be Mr. Maurizio Bona, Senior Advisor for relations with Parliaments and Science for Policy at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) about ‘CERN: Sixty years of science for peace and development‘.
