H.E. Judge Antoine Mindua
Dr Antoine Kesia-Mbe MINDUA is a native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”). He studied Law and Political Science successively in Kinshasa, DRC, Nancy and Strasbourg, France, and Geneva, Switzerland, where he received his PhD in International Law in 1995.
Dr MINDUA served first as Legal Officer at the ICTR in Arusha, Tanzania. Then, from 2001 to 2006, he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of the DRC in Bern and Geneva, Switzerland. From 2006 to 2016, he worked as Judge at the ICTY in The Hague, The Netherlands. Since 2009, he is Professor at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. Finally, from 2016 to date, he has been Judge of the ICC in The Hague and Second Vice-President since 2021.
