Dr. Olga Kadysheva

Dr. Olga V. Kadysheva is an economist and scholar of international migration with over 20 years of academic and policy experience. Holding a Candidate of Science in Economics degree (PhD equivalent), she has authored and co-authored more than 30 publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles, policy reports, and book chapters. Her research spans international migration governance, human rights, and socio-economic development at local, national, regional, and global levels.

Since 2013, she has collaborated with Global Migration Policy Associates (GMPA), becoming an Associate in 2015 and serving as Acting Secretary since 2018. She has contributed to major research, advisory, and policy initiatives in partnership with international organisations including the ILO, African Union, IGAD, UNESCO, Caritas Europa, ITUC, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Her work has contributed to key publications on urban migration governance, labour migration policy, and migrant inclusion frameworks.

At the Geneva School of Diplomacy, Dr. Kadysheva teaches International Migration: Current Challenges and Policy Responses, bringing extensive field expertise and policy insight into the classroom.
