Dr. Octavia Cerchez

Lecturer and Researcher, Author and Advisor Dr Cerchez has more than twenty years of experience in international relations, economics and law. Negotiator and Chairperson of various committees to the World Trade Organization, the United Nations, the European Union and the World Customs Organization. Dr Cerchez acted as Advisor to the Romanian Government for accession to the European Union. Dr Cerchez provides consultancy and leads international cooperation projects, and counsels and trains government officials and private businesses on legal and economic aspects of international policies’ negotiations and applications. She has broad experience in lecturing and conducting research in various institutions worldwide and as a speaker and conference track moderator. She authored nine books and numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals. She lectures in English, French, Romanian and occasionally Russian.
