Dr. Hassan Fartousi

Dr. Hassan Fartousi is a Visiting Professor at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations (GSD) and a research fellow at the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern since 2019. He earned his doctorate degree in International Law from the Geneva Law School, University of Geneva. He also serves as a visiting professor at Luiss University, Edalat University, and URD. Fartousi is a distinguished member of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) and the Art Law Foundation, contributing to the editorial board of the Journal of Ethics in Higher Education (JEHE). As an Attorney at Law and founding partner of ALFA Network and Consultancy International, Mr. Fartousi is highly regarded in legal circles. He is affiliated with the Swiss Arbitration Association and serves as an Arbitrator in TRAC. Additionally, he holds memberships with the International Bar Association and the Art Law Foundation. Dr. Fartousi’s professional engagements extend to collaboration with prominent international organizations such as ISESCO, UNESCO, and UNHRC. He is the founder and president of Cultural Diversity and Sustainable Development for Peace (CD4Peace) and serves as vice-president for Y30. With extensive experience in Public Policy and Strategic Studies, International Relations, and Peace-Building Negotiations within the MENA region, Fartousi is recognized for his expertise and contributions in these fields. In addition to his academic and legal achievements, Hassan Fartousi holds an MBA from IMO and various certifications in Life Coaching. He actively participates as a Mentor in the ‘Mentorat Carrière’ program at University of Geneva alumni. Proficient in communication, team building, leadership, and consultation, Mr. Fartousi is a native Arabic and Persian speaker, with fluency in English and French.
