Dr. Hassan Fartousi

Dr. Hassan Fartousi obtained his doctorate of Philosophy in International Law, from the Geneva Law School (UNIGE), and he is currently a Research Fellow at the World Trade Institute (WTI), at the University of Bern, a Member of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL), and Member of Art Law Foundation, and Lecturer professor at Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations (GSD), Edalat (Justice) University, and URD university, teaching: International Trade Law, Cultural Diplomacy and Peace-building, Intellectual Property Law, Environment Law, International Arbitration, Communication Law, Human Rights and Cultural Law, History of International Law, Sharia Law and Islamic Civilisation. He Published 13 Articles, 6 of which were Conference Articles and/or spoke at 43 Conferences, 17 of which took place at the UN Human Rights Council. Hassan Fartousi is Founder Partner of ALFA Network and Consultancy International, Arbitrator at Tehran Regional Arbitration Centre (TRAC), Senior Advisor and representative of Organization for Defending Victims of Violence (ODVV) to the UN, Attorney at law and Member of the Iran Bar, Worked with ICESCO. He is the founder and Volunteer President of Cultural Diversity and Sustainable Development for Peace Association (CD4Peace) and Vice president for Y30. He has practical experience in establishing, leading as well as teaming up within task forces and projects, with deep involvement and team leadership of diverse NGO voluntary activities- professional. Dr. Fartousi has cooperated with International Organisations namely the UN, WTO, UNESCO, WIPO, OHCHR and ITU. And high level of experience in Public Policy and Strategic Studies, International Political Affairs and Peace-Building Negotiations within the MENA region. He obtained Certificates as Life and Business Coach in skills of self-discovery and personal and interpersonal success and growth and has a long experience in this field. Currently, he has voluntary cooperation as a Mentor in the program of ‘Mentorat Carrière’ at the University of Geneva alumni. He is native in Arabic and Persian and fluent in English and French.
