Dr. Jana Konstantinova is a lecturer in international development and a senior scientist specialising in cities as complex systems, alternative development models, sustainable finance, and practical solutions through Public-Private-Civil Society Partnerships (PPCPs). She gained her PhD from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2021, analysing Yugoslavia as a laboratory for experimental, non-commodified ways of living and “third way” approaches beyond traditional models. Her interdisciplinary work combines sociology, political theory, and urban studies. She has experience working in International Geneva, collaborating with governments, multilateral development banks, and development agencies.
