Issues and Challenges Seminar Series with H. E. Dr. Gervais Rufyikiri

The Geneva School of Diplomacy recently hosted an insightful session as part of our Emerging Issues and Persistent Challenges Seminar Series. The seminar, led by H. E. Dr. Gervais Rufyikiri, examined the paradox of Central and Great Lakes Africa, focusing on the development and security challenges faced by the region despite its substantial natural resource wealth.

Dr. Rufyikiri’s expert analysis provided valuable perspectives on the complex interplay between resource abundance and the ongoing socio-economic and security issues within the region. The engaging discussion offered our academic community a deeper understanding of these critical global issues.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Rufyikiri for his enlightening contribution and for sharing his expertise with us. His insights were greatly appreciated and have significantly enriched our discourse on sustainable development and regional security.
