GSD Welcomes Dr. Jelena Aparac as Senior Academic and Programmes Coordinator

The Geneva School of Diplomacy is pleased to welcome Dr. Jelena Aparac as Senior Academic and Programmes Coordinator and faculty member.

Dr. Aparac brings extensive experience across international law, human rights, international humanitarian law, accountability, governance, and policy engagement. Her work has connected academic research, legal analysis, international institutions, and field-oriented expertise, with a particular focus on armed conflict, global governance, and the protection of human rights.

In her new role, Dr. Aparac will contribute to the academic and programme development of GSD, supporting the continued strengthening of the School’s teaching, coordination, and student experience.

Her appointment reflects GSD’s commitment to bringing together experienced scholars and practitioners whose work bridges academic excellence and real-world diplomatic practice.
