Bachelor of International Relations + BSc Business Management with Entrepreneurship and Innovation
This undergraduate double-degree pathway combines international relations and diplomacy at the Geneva School of Diplomacy with business management, entrepreneurship, and innovation through Anglia Ruskin University.
Eligible students complete the required first- and second-year credits through GSD before progressing to the final year of ARU’s BSc Business Management with Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Upon successful completion of the pathway and all applicable institutional requirements, students receive a Bachelor of International Relations from GSD and a BSc Business Management with Entrepreneurship and Innovation from ARU.
Programme Overview
The pathway is designed for students who want to combine an understanding of diplomacy, international relations, and global governance with applied knowledge of strategy, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and responsible business.
Students begin their studies at GSD in Geneva. After completing the recognised Level 4 and Level 5 credits of the Bachelor of International Relations, eligible students may progress directly to Level 6, the final year of the ARU Bachelor programme.
The ARU final year is delivered through blended learning, combining online study and tutor support with short face-to-face teaching blocks.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants first enter the Bachelor of International Relations at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Progression to the Anglia Ruskin University final year is subject to successful completion of the required GSD Level 4 and Level 5 credits, ARU admissions approval, English-language requirements, completion of all pre-offer checks, and formal acceptance of an ARU offer.

English language proficiency
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following (or equivalent):
- IELTS Academic Minimum score: 6.5
- TOEFL iBT Minimum score: 85
- Cambridge C1 Advanced Minimum score: 180
- Duolingo English Test Minimum score: 115
Applicants who have completed their prior education fully in English may request an English-language waiver, subject to assessment and approval. A waiver granted by GSD does not automatically guarantee a waiver from ARU; students progressing to the ARU component must satisfy ARU’s applicable English-language requirements.
Tuition and Fees
- GSD Tuition Fee: CHF 35,000 per academic year (Standard tuition for the GSD Bachelor of International Relations.)
- Application Fee: CHF 300 (Non-refundable and payable when submitting the application.)
- Enrolment Fee: CHF 1,500 (One-time enrolment fee.)
- Additional ARU Final-Year Pathway Tuition: GBP 5,650 (ARU tuition for the 2026–2027 academic year. Approximately CHF 6,000 and subject to annual review and change.)
The additional ARU final-year pathway tuition is payable in addition to the standard GSD Bachelor tuition and fees. The ARU fee is charged in GBP; any CHF amount shown is approximate and may vary according to the applicable exchange rate.
Fees do not include accommodation, travel, meals, health insurance, visa-related expenses, personal costs, or expenses associated with face-to-face teaching blocks delivered in the United Kingdom.

Double-Degree Progression and Awards
Progression to the ARU final year is subject to successful completion of the required GSD Level 4 and Level 5 credits, satisfaction of ARU’s admissions and English-language requirements, completion of all pre-offer checks, and formal acceptance of an ARU offer.
Upon successful completion of the full pathway and all applicable institutional requirements, students receive a Bachelor of International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy and a BSc Business Management with Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University.
