Diplomacy in the Digital Age: Looking Ahead to WSIS Forum 2026

Diplomacy in the Digital Age: Looking Ahead to WSIS Forum 2026

As the Geneva School of Diplomacy prepares to participate in WSIS Forum 2026, we look forward to contributing to global conversations at the intersection of diplomacy, technology, and international cooperation.

Hosted annually in Geneva, the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum brings together governments, international organisations, the private sector, academia, and civil society to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping our increasingly digital world.

As a boutique Swiss institution specialising in diplomacy and international relations, GSD is particularly interested in the evolving role of artificial intelligence governance, digital diplomacy, cybersecurity, science diplomacy, and global governance. These issues are becoming increasingly relevant to policymakers, international organisations, and future diplomatic leaders as technological developments continue to reshape the international landscape.

The Forum provides a unique platform for dialogue between sectors and stakeholders, fostering cooperation on some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities of the digital age.

We look forward to engaging with partners, practitioners, policymakers, alumni, students, and future leaders throughout the event, while continuing to promote dialogue, international cooperation, and innovative approaches to global challenges.

If you are attending WSIS Forum 2026, we would be delighted to connect and exchange ideas during this important international gathering in Geneva.
