GSD Students Volunteer at UNHCR’s Executive Committee Session
Geneva School of Diplomacy students recently volunteered during UNHCR’s Executive Committee session in Geneva, gaining valuable first-hand experience of a major multilateral meeting.
Throughout the event, the students supported the smooth running of the session while developing a deeper understanding of international cooperation and the work of UNHCR.
Following the closing session, the volunteers had the opportunity to meet the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the Head of the ExCom Secretariat, and members of the Executive Office and Governance team.
GSD is proud of the professionalism, commitment and initiative demonstrated by its students throughout this valuable experience. We thank UNHCR for continuing to provide meaningful opportunities for the next generation of diplomacy professionals.
