Biography
L. Thomas Pollan is an international affairs expert, author and United Nations official. Since 2000, he has held various positions within the United Nations. From 2005 to 2009, he contributed to the World Investment Report, the flagship publication of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). His work and publications focus on foreign affairs, economic policy, foreign direct investment and the European Union’s foreign and security policy. Pollan is also the author of fiction and non-fiction works in German and English.
