Biography
Mohammad Qurban Haqjo is a graduate of the Executive Master of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. His professional background spans diplomacy, international trade, economic policy, investment promotion, and strategic consulting.
He previously served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, where he represented Afghanistan in multilateral trade negotiations and international economic discussions. Prior to this role, he held several senior governmental leadership positions, including Deputy Minister for Commerce and President & CEO of the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA).
Alongside his public sector experience, he founded Focus Global Strategic Consulting Firm LLC, focusing on strategic advisory, business development, policy analysis, and organisational consulting for governmental, corporate, and non-profit stakeholders.
His multidisciplinary experience reflects strong expertise in international commerce, economic diplomacy, leadership, strategic management, and international cooperation.
