Biography
Florian Bikard is a graduate of the Master of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, where he completed a dual master’s specialisation in diplomacy and international relations, graduating Summa Cum Laude. His academic background combined international relations, diplomacy, global trade, strategic communications, and business administration.
He currently serves as an Account Manager at Red Flag Global in Brussels, where he works on European public affairs, strategic communications, political monitoring, and multinational client engagement. His work focuses on regulatory developments at European Union level, strategic messaging, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis across complex international environments.
Prior to joining Red Flag Global, Florian gained experience within several major international institutions and diplomatic environments. He worked in the Cabinet of European Commission Vice-President Margaritis Schinas as a Blue Book Trainee, supporting policy coordination, briefing preparation, and high-level communications. He also served at the United Nations Office at Geneva within the Political Affairs and Partnership Section of the Office of the Director-General, contributing to political analysis and diplomatic briefing support for senior-level meetings.
Earlier in his career, he worked with the Permanent Mission of the Maldives to the United Nations in Geneva, where he supported Human Rights Council participation, multilateral monitoring, policy research, and diplomatic communications.
His professional interests include European affairs, strategic communications, multilateral diplomacy, public policy, and international cooperation.
