Biography
Daria-Romana Pop is a graduate of the Bachelor of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Following her studies at GSD, she pursued advanced studies in Applied Intelligence with a focus on Cyber Threat Intelligence at Georgetown University.
She currently serves as a Security Researcher within Microsoft’s Detection and Response Team (DART), where her work focuses on cybersecurity, threat intelligence, incident response, and emerging digital security threats. Prior to this role, she worked as a Threat Intelligence Analyst within Microsoft Threat Intelligence Center (MSTIC-CRI) and gained additional experience in cyber threat intelligence and security analysis across both private and volunteer sector initiatives.
Her professional trajectory reflects the evolving intersection between international relations, security studies, intelligence, and emerging technological challenges in the global landscape.
