Biography

Christopher Sulkowski is a graduate of the Master of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, where he graduated with distinction and served as a Student Ambassador for the master’s programme. His academic background combines international relations, economics, data science, and quantitative analysis.

He currently serves within the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO) as a Data Engineer in the Data Science, AI, and Statistical Methods Division. His work focuses on data engineering, artificial intelligence applications, statistical methodologies, and advanced analytical systems supporting public sector data initiatives in Switzerland.

Prior to joining the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, Christopher worked at the European Central Bank across several analytical and modelling functions within the Directorate General Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability, as well as DG Economics. His responsibilities included financial stability analysis, stress test modelling, business cycle analysis, forecasting, and policy modelling.

Alongside his professional experience, he completed a Master of Liberal Arts in Data Science at Harvard University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving the Dean’s List Academic Achievement Award. He also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Harvard Extension School for Advanced Python for Data Science.

His professional interests include artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, data science, financial stability analysis, and the application of advanced analytical methods to public policy and governance.
