Biography
Umberto Setter is a graduate of the Master of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and served as Class of 2022 Valedictorian. His academic and professional background combines international relations, economics, finance, and global policy analysis.
He currently works at SCOR Investment Partners as an Institutional Sales Manager, focusing on capital raising and alternative investment strategies within international financial markets. Prior to this, he gained experience in trade finance, commodities trading, economic analysis, and international market operations across both Switzerland and the United States.
Alongside his professional experience, Umberto conducted research on climate policy and international development, including work related to nationally determined contributions in the lead-up to COP26.
His multidisciplinary profile reflects strong interests in international economics, investment strategy, global markets, sustainability, and international policy.
