Biography

Hussein Abul-Enein is a graduate of the Bachelor of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. His professional background focuses on digital policy, technology governance, international public policy, and strategic advisory work across the Middle East and North Africa region.

He currently serves as Director and Head of Middle East at Access Partnership, where he advises on policy issues linked to emerging technologies, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data governance, and international regulatory frameworks. His work includes engagement with governments, multilateral organisations, and private sector stakeholders on policy and strategic initiatives connected to the digital ecosystem.

Prior to joining Access Partnership, he gained experience within international organisations and policy institutions including the International Telecommunication Union, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, and the Permanent Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations in Geneva.

Following his studies at GSD, he pursued a Master of Arts in War Studies at King’s College London. His multidisciplinary experience reflects a strong interest in international governance, technology policy, strategic affairs, and multilateral cooperation.
