Biography

Hassan Abulenein is a graduate of the Bachelor of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. His professional background combines public policy, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and international development.

He currently serves as Associate Director for Government Engagement, Middle East and North Africa at the World Economic Forum, where his work focuses on policy dialogue, strategic partnerships, economic competitiveness, and regional cooperation initiatives. Prior to joining the World Economic Forum, he worked across strategy and communications consulting projects involving governmental and international stakeholders throughout the Middle East and North Africa region.

Following his studies at GSD, he pursued a Master of Science in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), with research focusing on sustainable development and public policy. His multidisciplinary experience reflects a strong interest in governance, technology, strategic foresight, and public-private collaboration.
