Biography

Dr. Suddha Chakravartti is Group Head of Research at EU Business School and Editor-in-Chief of ONRESEARCH, the institution’s flagship academic journal.

He lectures in International Relations, Public Policy, and Law at EU Business School and serves as adjunct faculty in International Relations at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations and SIT Study Abroad in Geneva.

His teaching, consulting, and research interests include global governance, geopolitics and geo-economics, the rise of emerging powers, resource security, international development, poverty reduction, and international risk assessment.

Dr. Chakravartti holds a B.A., LL.B (Hons) from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), University of Law in India, as well as both a Master of International Relations (MIR) and Doctor of International Relations (DIR) from the Geneva School of Diplomacy.

His doctoral research specialised in resource security issues and energy poverty in India.

Prior to his current academic appointments, he worked as researcher for the Commonwealth Secretariat project in Geneva, the Africa Progress Panel, and CUTS Geneva Resource Centre, focusing on international trade, development, governance, and security issues.

Dr. Chakravartti combines academic research with applied policy analysis and international governance expertise, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on development, geopolitics, and global policy challenges.
