Admissions Requirements
The DAS is designed for working professionals, mid-career practitioners, and experienced graduates.
Education
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Applicants without a degree may be admitted with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in international relations, diplomacy, business, NGOs, public service, or related fields
English language proficiency
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following (or equivalent):

- Cambridge C1 Advanced

Applicants who have completed prior studies fully in English may be eligible for a waiver, subject to assessment.
Tuition and Fees
- Enrolment fee: CHF 500 (one-time)
- Tuition fee (total): CHF 19,000
- Advance tuition payment: CHF 5,000 (deposit, deductible from total tuition)
The advance tuition payment is deductible from the total tuition fee. Tuition fees cover academic instruction and programme delivery. Living expenses, travel, and personal costs are not included.
Progression Pathways
The DAS is part of GSD’s stackable executive education pathway. Credits earned within the DAS may be recognised toward the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Global Affairs and Diplomacy, subject to academic approval.
