Mayra Ramírez Llerena

Mayra Ramírez Llerena is a graduate of the Master of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, where she was awarded a fellowship during her studies. Her professional background focuses on grants management, programme coordination, international development, and global health initiatives.

She currently serves as a Program Officer at The Global Fund in Geneva, contributing to the management of international health and development grant portfolios. Her work spans programme implementation, financial analysis, donor compliance, monitoring processes, and operational coordination across international and multilateral environments.

Prior to joining The Global Fund, she gained experience across international organisations and development-focused institutions, including the Joint Inspection Unit of the United Nations System, the Permanent Mission of the Maldives to the United Nations in Geneva, and Innovations for Poverty Action.

Her professional interests include programme management, international cooperation, social impact, and global development initiatives aimed at strengthening equitable and sustainable outcomes.
