Biography
Christine de Silva is a graduate of the Bachelor of International Relations programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Her academic and professional background focuses on programme management, stakeholder engagement, humanitarian affairs, and international development.
She previously worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva, supporting business analysis, process optimisation, stakeholder coordination, and operational planning initiatives across cross-functional teams. Her experience also includes roles connected to legal, humanitarian, and diplomatic environments, including work with Sidley Austin LLP, the Permanent Mission of Barbados to the United Nations in Geneva, and civil society organisations focused on peace and sustainable development.
Following her studies at GSD, she pursued a Master of Advanced Studies in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Her research interests include transitional justice, human rights, governance, and sustainable development.
