Mr. Cornel Gavata is Assistant Professor at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and consultant for the Globecraft Institute.
Education
Mr. Gavata holds a Bachelor degree from McMaster University Canada in Economics and an MBA degree from University of Applied Sciences in Germany. He is enrolled in the Doctor of International Relations (DIR) Programme at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. The topic of his thesis is “Transition from an Oil-based energy base to a sustainable Energy Portfolio: Time Frame 2050”.
Professional experience
After finishing the Economics Degree at McMaster University Mr. Gavata started his MBA Studies in Germany. He worked in Industry in Canada as Analyst and Economist and then started his teaching in Switzerland in 2005. He taught at University Centre Cesar Ritz, Geneva School of Diplomacy and more recently European University. He is also active as a consultant at the Globecraft Institute affiliated with Geneva School of Diplomacy.
