Mrs Atalanti Hadjipateras Moquette received a BA Hons in Philosophy and Ancient Greek at King’s College London. She continued her postgraduate studies in Art History at the University of Toronto. Atalanti started her career as a Junior expert at Sotheby’s. Atalanti has a long involvement in the field of philanthropy. She began at the grassroots level, running a life skills programme in a shelter for battered women. Her work ranged from fundraising to strategy development. As a philanthropist and volunteer, Atalanti has held positions on many boards. She is a founder member of the Geneva Committee of Human Rights Watch. She is a founding member of GenevaWISE, an association, which provides bursaries for young graduates from developing countries, allowing them to benefit from internships in Geneva.
